FAQs
Our cut-to-size blackout blind is designed to give you a custom fit for your window, without needing a professional install. Each blind comes with a tape measure and marker pen, so you can easily measure your window and mark out the size onto the fabric. Once you’ve trimmed it to size, just attach the included Velcro strips to both the blind and your window frame. It’s simple, secure, and totally non-permanent - perfect for nurseries, rentals, or anyone who wants great sleep without drilling holes!
Super simple — no tools needed! Just:
- Measure your window
- Trim the blind to size (making sure to add a cm or two so there's absolutely no gaps!)
- Attach the self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape around the edge of the blind
- Press the blind into place on your window frame.
It’s designed for quick setup and removal, making it perfect for both renters and tired parents!
Yes! The fabric is 100% blackout, so when installed correctly, it blocks all light from entering the room — even around the edges. It’s ideal for creating a dark, calm space for babies and toddlers (and grown-ups!) to sleep.
You can, and lots of families do. If you’re planning to use it this way, we recommend purchasing an extra roll of hook & loop tape for extra hold and durability. Just be gentle when removing the blind to keep the adhesive and blind in good shape for as long as possible.
Our blinds use sticky-backed hook-and-loop fasteners — no nails or screws required. It’s a non-permanent solution that works best on smooth, clean surfaces like metal or plastic frames. We always suggest testing a small spot first if you’re unsure about your surface type.
Each blind comes in a large sheet measuring 300 cm (wide) × 145 cm (high), which you can trim to fit your window exactly. It’s designed to suit most standard windows, including wide or tall frames.
Absolutely. It’s a parent favourite for nurseries and kids’ rooms thanks to its lightweight fabric, stylish design, and total light blockout. It helps create a consistent, sleep-friendly space — day or night.
Yes! It’s a non-permanent blackout solution, so it’s perfect if you’re renting, moving around regularly, or just don’t want to commit to fixed blinds. You can install and remove it without leaving holes or lasting marks.
It sure does. The blind features a heat-reflective silver backing that helps block sunlight and reduce heat during the day - great for sunny rooms or hot climates.
Yes - That’s one of the best things about this style! Because you cut the fabric yourself, you can shape it to suit bay windows, caravan windows, or anything that’s a little tricky. Just make sure to measure the window to know how much fabric you need and take your time with the trimming.
